About Us

At Garfield, we believe that the best insights come from real conversations—not checkboxes or slides. We're building a private space where niche professionals can share how they actually work, learn what others are doing, and grow together. No panels. No fluff. Just sharp, honest perspectives from people in the trenches.

It all starts with a Pulse—a short, voice-led interview where you share your workflows, tools, and frustrations. In return, you get $20 and access to what everyone else has said. It's a simple give-to-get model, and it works because everyone contributes.

Whether you're a BI engineer trying to decide between Airflow and Dagster, or a People Ops leader navigating performance reviews in a remote world, Garfield gives you a window into how your peers are thinking, solving, and evolving—right now.

Garfield Origin Story

We started Garfield after running into the same problem over and over again: we couldn't find real answers from real people. There were blog posts. There were webinars. There were analyst reports. But they all felt polished, generic, or out of date.

What we really wanted was to hear from someone like us—someone who had already made the hard tradeoffs, tested the tools, and figured out what actually worked.

So we built Garfield to capture the raw, honest stuff. Not surface-level summaries, but bite-sized conversations directly from the field. And instead of hoarding that knowledge, we designed it as a network—where every participant gives and gets in equal measure.

We named it Garfield because it felt a little different—smart, curious, a bit unexpected—and because, honestly, every other good domain was taken.
