Thanks for participating in a study powered by PulseIQ! These Terms of Participation (“Terms”) explain your rights and responsibilities when taking part in research sessions or submitting responses through our platform (“Services”).

By participating in a PulseIQ session — whether by video, audio, text, or survey — you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t participate.

1. Who Can Participate

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of giving informed consent to participate in research. You agree to provide honest, accurate information and not impersonate anyone else.

2. How Your Participation Works

By joining a study, you agree to:

Provide responses that are truthful and respectful
Participate without sharing sensitive personal data unless asked and you consent
Allow your responses (including video, audio, or written input) to be used for research and insight generation
Comply with any specific study instructions or rules

Participation is voluntary. You can choose not to answer any question, and you can stop participating at any time.

3. Consent to Recording and Use

Many PulseIQ sessions involve video or audio recording. By participating, you give us permission to:

Record, transcribe, and analyze your input
Share anonymized insights with the customer who invited you
Use your input to improve the quality of the research

We will not sell your data or use your responses for unrelated marketing. Any identifying info may be removed or masked when shared for research purposes.

4. Incentives and Payment

If you’re offered an incentive (like a gift card or payment), it will be provided according to the terms communicated to you before the session. PulseIQ may facilitate this payment, but the responsibility often lies with the organization running the study.

5. Respectful Conduct

You agree not to:

Upload or say anything harmful, illegal, offensive, or misleading
Infringe on anyone’s intellectual property or privacy
Attempt to disrupt or misuse the platform

PulseIQ reserves the right to remove you from a study or block participation if these guidelines are violated.

6. Data Handling and Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. For details on how your data is collected, used, and protected, please review our Privacy Policy. Your responses may be stored and processed in accordance with applicable U.S. data laws.

7. Disclaimers

The research experience is provided “as-is.” We can’t guarantee outcomes or technical perfection. If something goes wrong (like a technical issue), we’ll do our best, but we’re not liable for indirect damages.

We may update these Terms occasionally. When we do, we’ll post changes here. Continuing to participate in studies means you accept any updates.
